Day of Atonement

Original Post 10.12.2021

And Yahuah spoke unto Mosheh, saying,

Also on the tenth day of this seventh month is Yom Kippuriym: it shall be an holy assembly unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto Yahuah. And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is Yom Kippuriym, to make an atonement for you before Yahuah Elohaykem.

And this shall be a statute for ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you.-Leviticus 16:29 KJV

May we honor our Elohiym by keeping his command and doing what he says.

  • Humble yourself, afflict your soul (feel sorrowful for your transgressions), and seek forgiveness for the things you have done. Ask the Most High to forgive you for the sins you are aware of and the sins you are not aware of and take accountability for it. Repent of your sins.

  • Seek forgiveness and forgive those who have tresspassed against you.

  • Pray and ask the Most High for the grace, strength, and courage to be holy and live righteously before him.

  • Give thanks to YAH and praise Yahuah for his mercy!

Thank you, Abba, for this day. Thank you for Yahusha, and the sacrifice he made, in order that we may be reconciled to you. Thank you for the opportunity to be cleansed, delivered, and healed. And, thank you for your enduring love. 🤍
